All Time Favorite Perfume

My husband got this for me the 3.4 for xmas. I usually get the 1.7. It has been my favorite for 20 years or better.

I've worn other perfumes and as this one gets a bit more expensive have tried to find something to take it's place. But time and again I come back to Chanel #5.

To me it is what a perfume should be. Feminine fun classic sexy and something you feel you need to have on to feel dressed.

And last all day.

You don't need alot. A little bit will last you all day unlike other perfumes.

And it gives an air of confidence and all the things listed above that other perfumes just don't.

In the end I am finding that 90-100 dollars for this perfume lasts much much longer then if I spent less on another 'designer' or highly touted perfume. And I am also finding I spend less in the long run for a perfume I would wear so much more then one I may enjoy for a short while but tire of in a month or so.

There is a reason Chanel #5 is still a best seller after all these decades. And for those younger I began wearing it in my early 20s in the 80s. Most of the big popular name perfumes from that era are no longer on the market. And it will be same with the ones of today. Most will be gone in 10 years.

There are always young women in their 20s like I was who discover the beauty and timelessness of this perfume and make it their own.More detail ...

Very Sophisticated!

I wear this cologne for the office and I absolutelty love it. I have been wearing it for almost decade and I have received numerous compliments. It is definately a scent sophistication. I spray this one me several times in the morning and it wakes you up and gets you going so you can conquer the day! This scent is for a man with character and who knows what he wants out of life and goes out and gets it. My wife loves this one on me. I highly recommend this for office wear. Good deal!

It's Chanel ALLURE.. an awesome spicy and woodsy scent for men. This scent works with any person. Some guys would be set off by the maker of "Chanel" because of women's dresses & purses. This scent is high quality and I never had any compliants and lots of people smell me. Yes they make a huge effort to come and hug and smell me. Just to say "wow what is it that you are wearing?" and I say with a serious and seductive tone "Channel Allure!" It allures people.. if you do not want to lure people.. do not buy it! It smells cleaner then DG & CK which can become like the scent of Bleach after a while. Channel is expensive but worth it. A very nice touch is getting the Allure aftershave lotion. The spray is great for the body but then a small amount of the lotion can be applied to the face even if you are not planning to shave that night. The scent is not over powering. Chanel No. 19

Unbelievably beautiful green rose with a touch of powder to complete the perferection. It is a fragrance worn by m-lle Chanel herself. Is there more to say? Just keep in mind that eau de toilette is quite different from eau de parfum as it usually is with Chanel fragrances. Chanel No. 19 eau de parfum is greener the galbanum note is very strong in it. In eau de toilette although galbanum is present the solo is performed by rose. Pure parfum is closer to eau de toilette. They were both created by Henri Robert in the beginning of the 70s while eau de parfum came out much later and I believe was Jacques Polge's creation.More detail ...

If you're familiar with the Channel line you'll really enjoy Coco Mde - I get tons of compliments & its amazing how many folks "know" Im wearing Channel! Really Works!

I spend a ridiculous amount of time in the morning trying to apply mascara without leaving clumps and then cleaning errant mascara off my eyelids so when I heard about Chanel's new mascara brush I had to try it. I still cannot believe I spent this much on mascara but it really works and has saved me a lot of time. This mascara separates and lifts the lashes very well stays in place does not look or feel heavy and cleans off easily in the shower.More detail ...
